The townhome has just been filled and equipped with brand new furnishings, mattresses, linens, and supplies. The kitchen, bathrooms, and floors have been renovated and updated. With 3 King bedrooms plus a new sleeper sofa, this property is ideal for groups with couples as well as groups with kids. It has 3 levels of living space, with a bathroom on each, and an attached heated garage for your skis, boards, bikes, or car. The location is adjacent to the Yampa River Core Trail extension and the free city bus. There's more to like so please read on for all the details.

The Property:
The top floor of this townhome includes Bedrooms 1 and 2. Both of these bedrooms feature a King size bed, ceiling fan, large closets and tasteful art. Bedroom 1 has views which include a the ski mountain and right out front, a green space with a creek and the core trail extension. Bedroom 2 faces south and the many mature trees create a nice view here too. In between these two bedrooms there is a large split bathroom and the laundry machines. In this bathroom, you'll find new fixtures, flooring and tile. The vanity has a solid stone countertop and an under-mounted sink.

The middle or main level of this townhome includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, half bathroom, front porch and back deck. In the living room, the new sectional sofa includes a chaise lounger as well as a sleeper sofa. The warm gas fireplace and large HDTV make this a great place to relax. In between the living room and the kitchen is a beautiful solid wood dining table that seats 8. Both the living room and dining area have new light and ceiling fan fixtures. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, new tile backsplash, filtered water, and great lighting. You'll have a gas range and oven, a crockpot, a ninja blender, and all of the things you need to prepare meals. Off the kitchen is the back deck, which is a nice quiet place to sit with a beverage or a book.

The ground floor includes Bedroom 3 and the heated garage. This bedroom has a King size bed, a private bathroom, and wall mounted HDTV. From the hallway you can access the heated garage and the outdoor parking area. The heated garage has custom built ski and snowboard racks mounted to the side walls, so you can keep your gear in here plus a vehicle too.

Location:
It's a good location in the ski season, and even better in spring, summer, and fall. The city's free bus picks up and drops off right next to this development, year round. In ski season, the frequency of that service typically doubles. From the Gondola Transit Center, the ride home is only about 6 minutes. You can use this bus to get anywhere in town, including the big supermarket grocery stores, the Old Town Hot Springs, the ice rink, the ski area, and so much more. The ski area base is actually walkable for some. It's about a mile walk, but an easy mile. The first half mile is flat, a sidewalk along Whistler Road. Then you cross Walton Creek Road and take the Burgess Creek Trail. This paved path follows Burgess Creek rather than any road, and leads you directly to the Gondola, ski school, restaurants, shops, even a small grocery store called the Wild Plum. It's a pleasant walk, particularly in good weather. From this property, you can also walk, stroll, or bike to other areas of interest. Whistler Park, Walton Creek, and the Yampa River are all a short distance from the property, and the trail out front connects you to all of them.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:

Accessing this property is easy. You can enter the garage and ground floor (Bedroom 3) without a single stair. From the outside, you can go up the exterior stairs to the main or middle level and enter into the living room. The two King bedrooms are up one more level from there. Parking is provided for up to 3 vehicles. You'll have the heated garage space, one outdoor space immediately in front of the garage, and one reserved space about 20 meters from the garage. There is also a limited amount of additional shared parking spaces which are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please note, trailers are not allowed, per HOA guidelines. If you plan to bring one, there may be options for parking them nearby. Contact us for details.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property.
