This cabin in Blue River is dog friendly and has a bedding situation that makes it ideal for up to 4 couples, 6 singles, or groups with a mix of adults and kids. It features a large private hot tub and beautiful views, comfy furniture and bedding, and nice full-size kitchen and bathrooms. Here, you'll enjoy the atmosphere of a forested mountain retreat, but you'll also have quick, convenient access into all the amenities and activities of the town and resort. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
This home has 3 bedrooms plus a loft on 2 levels of living space. When you enter, there are vaulted ceilings that go all the way up to the roof, giving the living room, dining room, and kitchen a nice spacious feel. Plenty of windows and two sets of glass doors provide access to the deck and the private hot tub while letting in natural light and mountain views. The living room features comfy matching furniture, a freestanding, room-warming fireplace, and a large HDTV. Tongue and groove wood paneling on the walls and ceiling add to the cozy feel. The dining area has a large wood table for 6 that is immediately adjacent to the kitchen for easy meal service. This space also offers just the right amount of rustic decor for a cabin in the woods, while the kitchen adds the right amount of modern quality. This includes beautiful granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a good amount of cabinet and counter space. This kitchen is is fully equipped with gas range, microwave, dishwasher, new All-Clad cookware, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and plenty of dishes and flatware so your chef can prepare delicious meals.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 are on the main level, toward the back of the house. Both bedrooms have a nice queen size bed with matching furniture and a large closet. In between these two bedrooms is a large shared bathroom and laundry room. The bathroom has a large granite topped vanity and a combination bathtub and shower. The upper level is one very large loft style bedroom that spans the entire main portion of the home. On one side you're above the kitchen and on the other side you're above the living room. Each side of the loft bedroom has a Queen bed, and there are curtains which can be pulled shut to make each half of the loft more private.

This home also includes 2 twin rollaway beds which can be made available for your use. On the south side of the home, on the main level, off the living room, there's a third bedroom. Until recently, this room was home to the hot tub, which is now out on the deck. This bedroom has not been furnished yet, so it is a great place to set up those 2 rollaway beds. Of course, with 4 queen beds, you might not need the rollaway twins, so this wide open room could add some space for kids to play, or for adults to escape. The second of the home's 2 bathrooms is within this 3rd bedroom, which is convenient, since this room provides direct access to the hot tub portion of the deck. Like the first, this second bathroom features granite counters and a tiled shower.

This home looks remote and secluded. However, please note that this home is found in a residential area. The lots are large, and homes are nicely spaced out, but you will have neighbors. Being respectful of rules such as keeping dogs on leash, securing the bear resistant trash containers, is especially important.

The Location:
The cabin is located just 3 highway miles from downtown Breckenridge and the ski resort. It is also located on the Summit Stage bus route, with an easy 4 minute ride to or from town. Blue River has hiking trails, a local 14er called Quandary Peak, and of course the beautiful Blue River itself. At this home, you'll be just a few minutes from Breck, but you'll also be within 30-45 minutes of other resort areas, including Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Vail and Beaver Creek. So you'll be able to choose from multiple resorts, and if you won't have a car, the Summit Stage bus system will get you to most of them for free. In the summer, all of these ski resorts offer loads of activities. Lake Dillon is a great place for for boating, sailing, fishing, kayaking, or paddle-boarding. The area has amazing mountain biking, road biking, fishing, hiking, and more. Summit County's many resort areas and townships offer a wide array of restaurants, shopping, nightlife, concerts, theater, the list goes on. At this cabin, Breckenridge is super close, but it's all pretty close, and at the end of each day, you'll have a quiet mountain cabin to call home.

Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Instructions on how to get to and into the property are provided after you book the property. Access to this property requires one flight of outdoor stairs. Once inside, everything is on the main level, except the loft bedroom, which upstairs. Parking is free with spots for 2 cars. You might be able to park 3 to 4 cars depending upon size, but it isn't guaranteed. Please note that trailers are not allowed, typically. If you will have a trailer, please contact us before booking, to confirm whether it might be possible to park it onsite.
