Through the front door your eyes are immediately treated to a wide array of high end appointments. The Blue Stain Pine tongue and groove ceiling and high end luxury vinyl flooring are just the start. The centerpiece of the room is a hand-hewn live edge Ash island; which is surrounded by granite counter tops, Amish style cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The roomy mudroom through the side entry provides a place to drop off shoes, jackets or hiking gear at the end of a long day. The spacious laundry room offers a place to do laundry. The two bathrooms are equally well appointed with granite sink bases, beautiful custom ceramic tile and choice of either a bath or a shower. Finally, this home offers outdoor spaces for relaxing or entertaining. Want to relax? Out the side patio doors is an 8 x 12 patio built of patio blocks providing the perfect oasis for enjoying the tranquil wooded environment. Want to entertain? The 12 x 20 attached carport to on the right side has a floor built from heavy duty patio blocks that can hold a car or a big group of friends. This attached carport provides a covered entry right into the home, providing convenience plus!

The single level layout of this home is great for any group. One can easily move between the kitchen, living room and bedrooms without having to navigate any stairs. The open floor plan allows guests to watch the HDTV while cooking. For meals, there is a dining room table that seats five with a few additional bar stools at the kitchen island. The home is equipped with heat and has a pellet stove in the living room for additional warmth in the winter months. In the summer months, there are ceiling fans in the living room and main bedroom, to keep it cool. All 4 bedrooms comfortably fit Queen beds. There are two bathrooms in the home, one with a tub/shower combo and the other with a stand alone shower.

Florissant, which sits at about 8000ft in elevation, is a great year round destination. It is a quiet town with a few shops and restaurants but not too far from the hustle and bustle of Colorado Springs/Woodland Park. It sits on Highway 24, between Lake George and Divide. There are activities for everyone in the surrounding area. One can visit the Cripple Creek Casino, go for a hike or fly fish in Eleven Mile Canyon, visit the historic Florissant Fossil Beds to see fossils and petrified redwoods, etc. etc.
Arrival, Access, and Parking:

Make sure to read your arrival instructions thoroughly to access the home as Google Maps doesn't always get the location right. Once you've arrived at the home there is ample outdoor parking for up to 5 vehicles. Please only park in the driveway and not on the road. There is most likely room for 1 trailer, depending on how many other vehicles your group brings, but you'll need to reach out to our staff to discuss the specifics prior to bringing any trailers. To enter the home there are at least three steps from the ground up to the multiple home entrances.
