For those looking for a recently renovated ski in property, search no more. This Storm Meadows at Christie Base unit brought to you by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a step up from the rest. The condo faces the ski mountain so guests can watch as skiers come down the runs or once the mountain closes, they can take in the serenity of the silent slopes. The owners have upgraded the space so that is contemporary yet cozy. Guests will find new luxury vinyl flooring that replaced the old worn carpeting still found in many of the Storm Meadows units. A California King in the bedroom will assure that anyone staying in this unit has enough space and gets a good nights sleep. The kitchen is stocked with everything a guest might need to prepare a great meal, either dinner by crockpot or something more elaborate on the flattop electric stove. There are games, a gas fireplace and flatscreen tv's to help guests unwind after a day skiing or to just enjoy a lazy rest day hanging out around the condo.
The Property:
When entering the condo, you'll find an open floor plan and no stairs in the home. The kitchen is directly to your right, living room straight ahead and a coat closet to your left. A small bench is available so it's easy to take off and on one's shoes without performing an elaborate balancing act. A well stocked kitchen is important for any short term rental, this home is no exception. There's the standard fridge, stove, oven, microwave and also a crockpot, blender, stainless steel drip coffee maker, toaster, etc. Our housekeepers leave basic spices in the cupboards so you shouldn't have to worry about bringing your own salt and pepper. In terms of dining, we have both an island in the kitchen with two bar stools and a dining table with expansion leaves which can seat 4 people. In the living room there is a very comfortable Queen sized sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a California King, a stand alone A/C unit, an HDTV and it's own entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
Location:
Storm Meadows at Christie Base has a great location year round. It's only a few hundred yards from Ski Time Square, an area bustling with activity in both winter and summer. In the summer guests can hike or bike directly from the unit onto miles of Routt National Forest trails. In the winter the access is equally great with this ski in/out location. Coming home for lunch is an easy option with this location, just head down the Right O Way ski trail and veer right onto the Storm Meadows Ski In Access trail.
Arrival, Access, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We offer professional concierge services, provide you with arrival instructions, and answers to any specific questions you might have. There are zero stairs between the parking lot and the building entrance. Once inside, you can take the elevator or stairs down one floor to the condo. If you'll have a vehicle, the parking is an outdoor lot and spaces are not assigned. There is one parking spot available for this unit. Sorry, trailers are not allowed, per HOA guidelines, but if you plan to bring one, there are options for parking them off site. Contact us for details.
