This 2nd floor corner unit is the perfect rental for any couples or singles looking for a conveniently located 1 bedroom in Fraser. Sophie's Stopover, brought to you by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is an affordable, recently renovated condo, just two blocks from the closest bus stop and Safeway in Fraser. It's only 1 mile from the train station so anyone coming in by train can quickly get to their condo. The owners took this studio down to the studs during the winter of 2023 and remodeled it into the cozy, modern 1 bedroom it now is. They removed the outdated baseboard heating and added radiant electric heat in addition to the electric fireplace. There is a small yet well equipped kitchen with a fridge, small 4 burner electric stove, microwave, toaster, crockpot, etc. There is no dishwasher so if that's a necessity for your group, this probably isn't the place for you. A great breakfast bar provides one option for meals as well as fold out tv tables, if guests prefer to dine in front of the tv. The TV is a SmartTV but also has cable. A pocket door separates the bedroom from the living room for additional privacy. For parking, guests can park up to 2 vehicles in the shared outdoor parking lot. If guests prefer to travel without a vehicle, the bus is accessible, the town of Fraser is walkable and there are Uber & Lyft options for alternative transportation. To top it off, the complex has a nice communal area with a large gas fireplace and coin-op laundry.

– Accessing the Property – From the parking lot there is one full flight of stairs, outside the building, to access the unit. There are no stairs within the unit.
– Parking – Parking available for 2 vehicles in the shared outdoor parking lot. Trailers are not allowed per HOA rules. If guests need additional parking options, please contact us for more information.
– 4WD vehicle information
– 4WD/AWD or vehicles with chains may be required to access this property when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions. The property is less than a ¼ mile off of a major highway, US HWY 40, which is regularly plowed.
